ROBERTS, Leicester David

Peacefully, at Terrace View Retirement Village, Ashburton, (formerly of Pleasant Point), on Monday, January 9, 2023, aged 83 years. Gone to be with his Lord and Saviour. Dearly loved husband of Ngaire for 62 years. Adored and loved father and father-in-law of Faye and Neil (Pleasant Point), Suzanne (Waipahi), Eon (deceased) and Theresa (Reno USA), Karl and Jane (Lauriston), Ilene (Temuka), Vicki and Evan (Christchurch), Melvin and Megan (Ashburton), Vaughan and Amanda (Fergus Falls, USA). Much loved Granddad of 31 grandchildren and great-Granddad of 28 great-grandchildren. His legacy lives on! Loved eldest son of Clifford and Susie (both deceased). Brother and brother-in-law of Elsie and Ray (both deceased), John and Margie, and Philip. Brother-in-law to Ngaire’s family, Janice (deceased), Des (deceased), Don and Sheryl, and Margaret (deceased). Uncle and great-uncle to many more. All the family wish to thank the staff at Terrace View Retirement Village for caring for Dad over the last few years – we thank you so much. A Memorial Service to celebrate Leicester’s life will be held at St Albans Anglican Church, Pleasant Point, on Friday, February 17, commencing at 2.00pm.

Passed away peacefully at Edenvale Rest Home on February 11, 2023. Loved husband of the late Irene. Loved father of Ross, Graham, Christine, and Nigel. Treasured grandfather of Brandon, Julianna, Sherrie, and Renee. Passed away peacefully on 9th February 2023, in her 92nd year. Dearly loved wife of Bob (dec). Loved eldest daughter of the late Maurice and Dorrie Burke. Very dearly loved eldest sister of Marion and the late Mervyn Hyde, Maurie Burke (dec), and friend of Judy, Dorothy and Bill, Allison and Shirley and Barry Storey, and Aunty to all our families.
Rest peacefully Eileen after a long and wonderful life.

Knox passed away at Christchurch Hospital with his children, wife and brothers around him. Beloved husband of Julie, much loved dad and dad-in-law to Charlotte and Blair, Knox and Emily and Adam and Anna. Treasured Pops to Poppie, Archer, Carter, Abel, Noah and Jake. Our family would like to thank the caring and supportive staff at B6. Words can’t describe how much we will miss such a caring, loving and wise man. The family will be holding a private service.

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of family, aged 84 years. Cherished wife of Ken for 63 years. Devoted Mum of Colin (Dec) Caley, and Sean. A loving Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and that includes Jack the dog.
A service to celebrate Maureen’s life will be held in the South Taranaki Funeral Services Chapel, 268 High Street, Hawera, on Friday 17th February at 1.00pm. Followed by a private cremation. All communications addressed to the family of Maureen Shaw, c/- PO Box 183, Hawera 4640.

Passed away on February 9, 2023 at Aldwin House, age 81 with family by her side. Deeply loved wife of late husband Reg McIlroy. Treasured mother of Stephen and Karen and mother-in-law of Chris and Yvonne. Loved and adored Nana of Leah, Logan, Bradley, Brydon, Lachlan, Kaci-Grace and Ellie. A kind gentle caring mother, Nana, wife, and sister.
Marilyn will be greatly missed.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 12th February 2023 at Taranaki Base Hospital New Plymouth, aged 71 years. Finally reunited with her beloved daddy (Dick). After a short illness, peacefully at home on 12th February 2023, aged 86 years. Much loved and cherished life partner of Jill for 64 years. On Sunday 12th February 2023 at Palmerston North Hospital. Aged 86. Dearly loved wife of Bruce. Dearly loved mother of Christine Crawford, Murray Moore, Barry Moore, and Megan Sedcole, and other mother of Toni Koehler, Carey Leask, and Karleen Banks. Loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Calvary Hospital on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in her 86th year. Much loved wife of the late Kevin. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Janine and Jonathan Major (Sawbridgeworth, UK), James Glenn (Jimmy) and Mel McAlister, and the late Lisa (Invercargill), Grant McAlister and Peggy Zhen (Wellington), and the late Timothy McAlister. Loved Nana Bangles of Cameron McAlister and Benjamin Major. Mary was a dearly loved sister, sister in law and Aunty. Family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Calvary Hospital for their devoted care of Mary over the past 12 years.

Suddenly as a result of an accident in Mangaweka on Saturday 11th February 2023, aged 42. Dearly loved eldest son of Trish and Philip (Hamilton). Dearly loved husband of Janice Tay-Oh. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Rebecca and Darren Reader, Stephen and Julia, Sarah and Steven Miller, and Jono and Abby. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A time of farewell will be held at Rosewood, 415 Queen Street, Masterton, on Wednesday 15th February, at 10.30am, prior to Richard travelling to Hamilton for his funeral service.
