Of Tawa, Wellington. Died suddenly on 4th February 2023 after a short illness, in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Deidre. Loved father and father-in-law of Neil & Holle Shanks (Germany), and cherished Opa of their children Anni, Timm & Julia, Emma & Sebastian, and Great-Opa to William Don. Loved father and father-in-law of Heather & Robert Becada (Tawa), and loved Grandad of Braden (Australia), and Kelsey & Braden (Tauranga). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ken & Shirley, Colleen & Eric (both dec), Sheryl (dec) & Bill. Loved Uncle of Richard, Christopher and David; Barbara, Janice and Christopher; Aaron and Penny, and their families. Many thanks to the kind staff of Wellington Hospital & Ward 6 South for their love and care. Now being ’accounted’ for in Heaven. A Service to celebrate Don’s life will be held in the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Thursday 23rd February at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. Bert passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023, at home, surrounded by his wife and children; Aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Angela for 54 years. Loved father of Debbie and Lyall (Sam), and much loved Grandad of Travis and Jaden. Loved Uncle of Kirsten and Andrew and cherished brother-in-law and cousin. Eldest son of the late William Aitken Compton and Ella Amelia Mary Compton (Moore).

Tracy Lynette Keenan passed away peacefully at home in Queensland on January 18, 2023, surrounded by her husband John, sister Annette and brother-in-law Fred. Beloved daughter of the late Bill and Lorraine Winder. Cherished mother of Peter Hislop, Monique and a loving Nana to her special grandchild Piper. Loved Aunty of Taylor, Alex, Callum and Paris, Isla and Freddie. Especially loved by her extended family, Arren and Maddison, Natalie Dave, Ben and Amelia, Adam, Tara and Sophia. A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held at 3.00pm on Thursday, February 16 at Vilagrad Wines.

His journey ended after 82 years on January 13, 2023, leaving Jan and daughters Karen and Jo to mourn. A friend and dearly loved partner of 60 years has departed. God bless. Passed peacefully at Sunhaven Rest Home, Bell Block, on Monday 6th February 2023, aged 90 years. Son of the late Albert and Ivy Cunniffe. Brother of June Northcott, Bev Crow, and Don Cunniffe (all deceased). Dearly loved and respected uncle of John and Patsy Crow and family.
