SILVESTER, Vicki (nee Bello)

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on 11th June 2021. Aged 68. Dearly loved wife of Clive. Mother of Daniel, Rebecca, Jessica, Nana to Ava, Jorja and Kobe. Sister to Craig, Sonia, Tania. Eldest Daughter to the late Colin and Katherine Hepburn. Her funeral will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu, on Wednesday 16th June at 1.00pm.



Members of the Walton Golf Club are deeply saddened by the passing of our Patron and friend Jan. Jan’s service and dedication to the club will always be remembered.


SEYMOUR, Sandra Dawn

Passed away peacefully, at Hawke’s Bay Regional Hospital, Hastings, on June 11, 2021. Loved wife of Hugh of 48 years. Loved Mum of Andrea. Daughter of the late June and Lance. CRAWFORD, Alexander (Alec)

Peacefully at home on Sunday 6 June 2021, aged 96 years. Adored and greatly cherished husband (of 68 years), best friend and sweetheart of Betty. A very much loved and respected Dad and Dad-in-law of Annette and Ray, Alex and Janis, Bev and Richard, Jim and Pam; loved and cherished granddad of 9; doting great-granddad of 11.
A true gentleman who was
an example for all.

COOK, William Howard

Passed away on June 11, 2021, at 3.20am, after a short battle with cancer, in the Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane, Australia. He left behind a loving family. He was a much loved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by everyone.

On 13 June 2021, peacefully in Tauranga Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Gordon, loved mum of Michael, treasured nana to Shaun, Leia and Mikey. Loved sister-in-law of Gail. WATERMAN, Sylvia Violet

Died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on June 12, 2021, aged 76 years. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Bev and late Errol, Ron and Barbara, Ken (deceased) and Ronita, Trevor and Lorraine (Gold Coast), Shirley and Bill. Much loved and adored aunty of all her nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Christchurch Hospital for their care of Sylvia and their empathy and helpfulness to family and friends in Sylvia’s last few days. The family would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care given to Sylvia at St John of God Hospital, Halswell, and it was Sylvia’s wish that in lieu of flowers, donations to ‘St John of God Hauora Trust’ would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. SNYDERS, Jacob (Jack)

Died peacefully at home surrounded by family in Raumati on Saturday 12 June 2021, after a long illness. In his 90th year, he has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour. Dearly loved husband of Bastiana (Bev). Loving father and father-in-law of Jane (dec), Michael & Ros, Peter & Julienne, Robyn & Bill (USA). Loving Opa to Philip & Alice, David & Gypsy, Christopher & Angelina, Stephanie, Sarah & Benson (AUS), Nicole & Joe (Fiji), Travis & Robyn (CAN), Sarah & Philip (TZA), Jennifer, and Siobhan. Loving Great-Opa to Hugo, Freya, Mckenzie, Jordan & Tiana (AUS), Lucy (CAN), Rowan (TZA). Thanks to Dr Tim Smit and nurses, especially Liffet for looking after Jack for many years. Many thanks to all of the staff at Mary Potter Hospice and district nurses for their wonderful care of Jack in his last days. Special thanks to David. Thanks to our family in the Netherlands and our extended family in NZ, our church family, table tennis club, snooker club, our friends, neighbours and Coastal Villas staff for their love and care. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Kapiti Uniting Parish Raumati Church, 10 Weka Road, Raumati Beach, on Thursday 17 June 2021, at 10.30am, followed by interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
