MA (University of New Zealand, 1963), English teacher at Christchurch Girls’ High School 1966-8, 1973-2001, Head of English 1986-2001. Beloved wife of Peter (dec. 1992). Eldest daughter of Rolf and Elima Lamberg. Indomitable mother and mother-in-law of Hester (Cambridge, UK) and Susannah and Mark Cookson (Wellington). Glorious Sebba to her 2 adored grandchildren, Laura and Benjamin. Cherished elder sister of Bill Lamberg (Connecticut, USA), John and Clare Lamberg (Christchurch), Karen and Ian Brown (Havelock North), Jane and David Harding (Hastings), and Betty and Ian McNeill (Perth, WA). Loved and respected aunt of Matthew and Vanessa; Philip, Joanne and Rolf; Miles; Campbell, Michael and Gareth; Kirsty and Callum, and their partners, and wise great-aunt of many more.
