Our lovely Lola passed away, quietly and peacefully, on Monday, December 5, 2022, aged 92 years. Loved wife of the late Roy (Gore), cherished mother and mother-in-law of David and Kerry (Wellington), Megan and Richard Pope (Adelaide), Leigh-Anne and Duncan Jefferis (West Melton), and adored and loving Grandma and Great-Grandma. A service celebrating Lola will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 7 Traford Street, Gore, on Tuesday, February 14, at 1.00pm, followed by private interment of her ashes with Dad at Charlton Park Cemetery. In recognition of Lola’s zest for life, please wear bright colours. So many people have loved and cared for Mum, from Brisbane, 64 years in Gore, and the last two years in Christchurch.
