Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on February 20, 2023, aged 79. Adored partner of Pat. Much loved father and father-in-law of Darryl and Em, Andrea and Hanno, Michelle and Paul. Treasured grandfather to Tui and Jimmy, and friend to very many.
He will be greatly missed.

A much loved and respected singer, dancer, artist, cake decorator, mother and grandmother. On Tuesday, February 22, 2023, peacefully at Charles Upham in Rangiora, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Colin. On February 18, 2023, in her 98th year, passed peacefully in her sleep at the Palm Grove Rest Home. Loved wife of the late Kenneth, loved mother and mother-in-law of Anthony and Yvonne, Carolyn and Mark Gordon, and Bryan and Rhonda. Loved Grandmother of Julian, Gabrielle, Emma, Lindsey, Timothy, Rebecca, Julia and Jason, Kura will also be missed by her wider family and great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Marie and Ian McCormick, Heather and the late Sheff Parris and Ngareta and the late Peter Sincock and loved Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Thank you to the staff at Christchurch Public Hospital and Palm Grove Rest Home and a special thank you to the carers from Access Community Health particularly Judith and Debbie who supported Kura with her independence in her own home. Jane Margaret Loe cherished daughter of the late Peter Rivers Loe and Annie Jean Loe (nee Robson) passed suddenly in the early hours of Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Jane leaves behind her loving partner of 30 years Gary Healey and their children Maia, Sam and Levi. A memorial service was held at Jane’s home on Monday, February 13, followed by a private cremation on Tuesday, February 14. Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew her and the family wishes to thank St John’s, the Akaroa Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Community of Akaroa for all their support during this difficult time. We have planted a Rimu in memory of our Wildlife Warrior on the land she loved.

Died peacefully at Resthaven, Gore. Son of the late Fred and Dorothea and a much loved brother and uncle. Loved friend to Liz and Colin, Kevin and Verna, Wayne and Theresa, Gary and Liz (all of Mataura and Gore). In accordance with Ernie’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A service of Remembrance will be held for Ernie at the Mataura RSA, River Street, on Wednesday, March 1 at 1.30pm.
