Passed away on February 27, 2023 at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village, aged 92 years, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of Leslie* (Les), and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Janice and Crawford McMillan (Otautau), Nelson and Val (Cromwell), Warren*, Margaret and partner, Alister McLean (Mataura), Cliff and Anne (Bluff), Edward*, Lindsay and Kate (Gold Coast). Loved Nana Sylv of Tania and Jason, Gail and Blair, Carla, Ricky and Selena, Gavin and Rue, Nathan and Korena, Tracey, Jamie and Carolyn, Shelley and Romel, Hayden and Julia, and Nana Sylv to her 17 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Cath* and Hec* McKenzie, Gordon* and Margaret* Nunn, Jim* and Bev Nunn, and Auntie to her nieces and nephews. MITCHELL, Robert Allan Stewart
Aged 78 years passed away in Melbourne Australia. Son of Allan and Lorna Mitchell. Brother to Ian, Doug, Pete, and Bruce. He was with his two sons Richard and Nick, their grandchildren Maci, Max, James, Cohen, Cameron, and Christian for his final days. He was a much loved father and mentor to his sons and many others in the community whom he inspired. An open memorial to celebrate his life and passions will be held at Old St Pauls Cathedral in Wellington, NZ on Friday the 10th of March 2023 at 10am.

Lyndsay died as the result of a motorcycle accident on Sunday, 26 February 2023. Greatly adored dad of Ryder and Eden. Much loved son of the late Edgar (Ted) and Gloria Patterson. Loved and cherished mother of June and Chris (Australia), Coleen and Phillip. Foster mother of Stewart (deceased), Nan to Sandra, Debbie and Troy (Australia), Katrina, Natasha, Sonia and Todd. Great-Nan of 8 in Australia and 1 in NZ. Great-Great-Nan of 5 in Australia and 2 in NZ. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Cardrona Resthome, Putaruru for their love and long term care of our Mum and Nan. Joan was farewelled in a private service at St Patrick’s Parish Putaruru on 27th February 2023. She will be laid to rest with her mother, Nora Love (Dibben), whom she adored.
