SMITH, Kura Cecily (nee Jones)

On February 18, 2023, in her 98th year, passed peacefully in her sleep at the Palm Grove Rest Home. Loved wife of the late Kenneth, loved mother and mother-in-law of Anthony and Yvonne, Carolyn and Mark Gordon, and Bryan and Rhonda. Loved Grandmother of Julian, Gabrielle, Emma, Lindsey, Timothy, Rebecca, Julia and Jason, Kura will also be missed by her wider family and great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Marie and Ian McCormick, Heather and the late Sheff Parris and Ngareta and the late Peter Sincock and loved Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Thank you to the staff at Christchurch Public Hospital and Palm Grove Rest Home and a special thank you to the carers from Access Community Health particularly Judith and Debbie who supported Kura with her independence in her own home.
