Today out in Waiwhetu, two separate (car advertising ) roof cleaners in different streets, were up with hoses and bubbles, and NO harnesses.
One was a two story house and the other single story. Does scaffolding and safety not include roof cleaners......one rule for ALL.

The carnival was run for the first time last year and was such a success.
This year the Hutt City Council have a number of exciting pre-carnival events lined up, including Te Whiti Riser Night Walk, Night Picnic at Percy's, Glowga - Glow in the Dark Yoga and Energise the Night. The main carnival will run over Labour Weekend from 19 - 22 October.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help out at some of these events. If you would like to be at the heart of all the fun, gain experience at an event, and help your community then we would love to hear from you!

The Churton Park Community Association, in conjunction with local list MP Brett Hudson, has arranged a meeting where you can come and tell Greater Wellington Regional Councillors and their transport staff what you believe can be done to improve the situation. The Association sees this as a great opportunity to provide sensible and practical solutions to what have been very frustrating issues around the introduction of new timetables, routes, hubbing and so forth.
