The first item on our agenda is the presentation of certificates by Mayor Ray Wallace to 3x recipients of the inaugural Petone Champions. A new award created by the Petone Community Board to recognise people within our community that are doing awesome things.

Sadly Petone Wharf wont be re-opening anytime soon. The damage sustained during the earthquake has made it unsafe due to a number of failings in the structure. Some serious decisions need to be made early 2017 on the future of Petone, Point Howard, Rona & Days Bay Wharves.
