COLLINS, Dorothy (Dot)

On Tuesday 6 June, Dot took her final curtain call. She was the cherished daughter of Jessie and Annie, supportive and caring older sister of Marie, beloved companion of Tony, and fantastic mum to Cathryn, Laura, and Alex. Around Palmerston North, Dot was also a Scallywag to many and a friend to all. Please come and join us to celebrate Dot’s life on Sunday 9th July, starting 2.30pm at Joseph Street Kitchen, 55 Joseph Street, Palmerston North. Dot loved colour and sharing a good laugh, so wear something colourful and we’ll have some laughs and no doubt share a few tears as we remember her. No flowers please, if you’d like to make a gesture then please send a donation to Arohanui Hospice who were so wonderful in supporting Dot and her family through the last months of her life. Also, many thanks go out to the staff at Julia Wallace Retirement Village for their help and kindness over the last few years.
