Death

(of Kaiapoi). On June 3, 2023, passed peacefully at the Kaiapoi Lodge, surrounded by her loving family, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Russell. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Carol and Kevin, and Carol and Gerald. Loved and cherished Grandma of Macie and Nico. Dearly loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty, great-aunty and great-great-aunty to her many nieces and nephews, and a great friend to many. A very special thank you to Dr Gerald Fairhall, and the staff at Kaiapoi Lodge for their wonderful care of Norma. Messages may be sent to the Peyton family, c/- PO Box 263, Kaiapoi 7644. A service to celebrate Norma’s long life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London or Whitmore Street, Christchurch, on Friday, June 9, at 1.00pm.
