Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Nelson Hospital. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret. Much loved dad of Ruth and Quentin Robertson (Australia), Julie and the late Dean Merry (Buller). Loved grandfather of Bernie, Leigh, Anna, Johnathan, Bryn, Holly, and great-grandfather to Teddy, Reeve, Finnley, and Enzo. Loved brother of David Foster-Barham. Many thanks to all of Hugh’s caregivers.

A wake to celebrate Hugh’s life will be held at the Gardens of the World Marquee, 95 Clover Road East, Hope, on Saturday, June 10 at 11.00am. Hugh’s ashes will then be laid to rest privately at Marsden Valley Cemetery.
