On February 17, 2023, suddenly, but peacefully, after a brief illness, at Dunedin Hospital; aged 76 years. Brian has gone to watch his beloved stockcars in the sky. Treasured son of the late Eric and Peggy Lester, beloved brother of Neville (dec), Treana, Murray, Tony and Shona, and brother of Judith. Passed away peacefully at his home in Whangarei surrounded by family. A Memorial for both Jim and Allison (his late wife), will be held at the Centre Hill Cemetery, Mossburn, on Sunday March 5, 2023 at 11am where both their ashes will be interred. Refreshments will follow at the Mossburn Railway Hotel, 16 York Street, Mossburn.
