Death

Peacefully in the care of the staff at Yvette Williams Rest Home, Highgate, Dunedin, on February 18, 2023. Dearly loved Sister of the New Zealand Dominican Sisters. Loved daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy Mackie, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Tom* and Eileen Mackie (Australia), Patricia* and Bob Richards (Canada), Anne and Gerard* Thompson (Alexandra), and John and Mary Jo Mackie (Canada). Treasured aunt of all her nieces and nephews and loyal friend to many. In the 68th year of her religious profession. Special thanks to Dr Tim Bolter, Dr Shan Shan Yan and the staff at the Radiology Clinic Dunedin Public Hospital; to Sharon Clearwater and the doctors at the Otago Community Hospice; and Father Mark Chamberlain for their constant care of Elizabeth.
