BYRNE, Venna Josephene (nee Anstis)

Passed peacefully at Tainui Rest Home on Friday 17th February 2023, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim Byrne, and latterly the late Jim Hounsell. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Mike and Diane, Catherine and Andrew, and Andy and Saaifon. Loved Nana of Rachel, Nick, Lauren, Caitlin, Campbell, Ella, Olivia, James, and Jaxon, and Great-Nana of Zuri. A Requiem Mass for Venna will be celebrated at Francis Douglas Memorial College Chapel, 201 Tukapa Street, New Plymouth, on Tuesday 21st February 2023 at 4.00pm, followed by a private interment. Parking will be available in the front paddock off Tukapa Street.
