Wairehu passed away at home on Sunday 7 May 2023. Father of Joanne, Gabrielle, Sally, Martin (deceased) and Simon. Grandfather to Kate, Harper and Xavier. Wairehu will lie at home 3 Grey Street, Waitara until the morning of Friday 12 May. He will leave home at 9.00am to travel to oeo Pa where he will lie until burial in the whnau urupa that afternoon.

Aged 86. Passed away peacefully on February 3, 2023, at St Andrews Village in Auckland after a long journey with dementia. She was the beloved wife of Blue, and loving mother of Arlene (dec) and Erin, and loving grandmother of Hayden. A private cremation was held with her favourite music playing, followed by a small gathering of family and close friends prior to the interment of her ashes. The family thanks the staff at St Andrew’s Village Dementia unit for their compassionate care of Berys during her illness. Of Te Horo. On 5 May 2023, peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 79 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Graham. Loved mother of Daryl and Angela. Sister to the late Yvonne, and Jocelyn, Neil, Bruce and Robyn. Auntie to her nieces and nephews in Aotearoa, Canada and England, and their children, and loyal friend to Doug and many others. Nancy’s passing leaves a big gap in our family. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to both people and animals, her distinctive laugh, and her sense of fun. A service to celebrate Nancy’s Life will be held at Harvey’s Chapel, 284 Oxford Street, Levin, on Thursday 11 May at 1.30pm, followed by burial at the Otaki Lawn Cemetery.

As per her wishes there will be a gathering to celebrate her life on Thursday 11th May at 2.00pm to be held in the Recreation Hall at Summerset, 20 Racecourse Road in Trentham.
