Peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington on 28 April 2023 after a short and courageous battle with cancer, aged 90 years. Loving husband of Joy, proud father of Jenny, Janet and Angela. Richard Olykan (born March 7, 1938, in Zwanenburg, the Netherlands) died peacefully at his home in Motueka on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was farewelled by his beloved Karin, Jacinta, Jos and Bella, Bren, Brooke, Eiko and Anouk, Milly and Chris, brothers John, Wally, Jac, Judy and their families. He will be missed by family and friends here and in the Netherlands.
