Beloved son of Barbara and the late Arthur, stepson of John Davidson (Timaru), dearly loved brother of Fiona Eder (Timaru), loved uncle of Kristina, Corey, and Rosa (all Christchurch), and their families, loved nephew of Robyne Wells (Oamaru), brother-in-law and best pal of John Steer (Christchurch). Surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle, aged 78 years. Loved and devoted husband of April, loved and special Dad to Kat, adored Poppa to his Lil man James. A loving brother and a very special friend to many. John will be lying in state at his home 25 Te Kawa Street, Otorohanga. Please feel free to visit. There will be a gathering on Thursday 11th May at his home, followed by a cremation service at Hamilton Park Crematorium, Morrinsville Road, Newstead, at 2.00pm, then back to Otorohanga Club for refreshments.
