After a long illness Con was freed from her chains to this world to be with her God and sing in the heavenly choir, dying on Friday 5 May 2023 at Tainui Village, New Plymouth, in her 86th year. Loved daughter of the late Noel and Nancy Robertshawe and dear sister to Rosamond, John, Mark (dec), Ralph and Helen, and sister-in-law to Eileen, Gloria and Diana. Con was a devoted nurse and hospital matron, a lover of music, pianist and Choir singer, an avid golfer, very hospitable and a good friend to many. The family wish to thank those at Tainui who cared for Con over recent years and offer especial appreciation to Bali Haque who has managed her affairs since her illness commenced. Con, a valued former member of the Tainui Home Trust Board. Con gave generously of herself to Tainui Village residents, visiting and advocating where needed. Proactive in the support of staff particularly the nurses and carers where her field of expertise lay. After a lifetime of serving, Con is now at rest with her beloved Lord. A life well lived.
