Why is TheWarehouse so expensive?

Markus from Green Bay

I thought TheWarehouse wanted to bring competition to the food market in NZ - instead they are MORE expensive than CountDown, NewWorld, PaknSave etc.

Example: 1.5 kg Chelsea White Sugar $4, Whittaker 250 g chocolate $6.50, Tararua butter for $8, or two for $9,80? How is that "better" … View more

Even their famous $4 Butter has disappeared.

Can someone explain this?

It was fantastic talking to them and hearing stories about the man including how he got his nickname (Tarby not Darby). They have sent me the attached statement to share with the community and media. I have put it together as a poster if you would like to save it and share around. It is clear the land was donated for pensioner housing and this should remain the case in the redevelopment.

Additionally I have received a phone call from the lawyers. They are still working on our case and are looking deeply into the sale of the land specifically. No word yet on resource consent and I have a meeting with the CEO of Kāinga Ora next week.

Power can be connected left or right

Pickup in Green Bay (we live opposite Green Bay High School) is MUCH preferred though it is possible to send if buyer pays p&p, or if you are outside Auckland then maybe a friend of yours in Auckland can do the pickup.

As I work from home anyway I'm home pretty much all the time, so just let me know a time you would like to come round.

Price: $99
