This year’s Hutt City event is shaping up to be the best yet – and hopefully the biggest! We’ve got lots to celebrate, with big additions to our network of cycleways and shared paths in the pipeline, and work starting on the Wainuiomata Hill shared path in the next week or two.

Fast, slow, graceful, younger older or in the middle, one two or three wheels, mountainbike or road warrior – whatever your style, ride on down to The Dowse to mix and mingle with fellow cyclists, and celebrate all things cycling with great food, excellent coffee and awesome entertainment.

HEAVY RAIN Update #4 (9am 3 Feb)

BLOCK ROAD, LOWER HUTT has reopened. All roads in Lower Hutt are now open.The sun is out, the river has dropped significantly from last night and weather warnings have lifted. There may still be debris in the area from last night's surface flooding so please be extra careful on the roads.

How do I get there?
Free Parking is available at Melling station.
Free Shuttles are available!
A bus will leave from Wainuiomata Library at 10am and 11am on Saturday 11 February. It will go via Queensgate at 10.22am and 11.22am to Melling. A bus will then leave Melling via Queensgate to the Wainuiomata Library at 11.35am and 12.35pm.
