As a precaution, chlorine is being added to the unchlorinated water supply in Lower Hutt. This does not necessarily mean the water is contaminated. As a precaution, we will always introduce chlorine to part or all of the water network after a positive result, until re-tests confirm there is no contamination.
This means people in Lower Hutt may notice the taste or odour of chlorine in their drinking water in the next few hours.
The chlorinated water is fine to drink without any other treatment. There is no need to boil your drinking water.
The water at the Naenae reservoir and throughout the water network will be re-tested and we will keep you posted here on the results of those tests.

Just like relationships themselves, problems in relationships come in all shapes and sizes.
Sometimes working out the issues in your relationship can take time, but not everyone has the energy or the time to spend hours reading relationships guides.
That’s why I’ve put together these 7 easy ways you can do today that will have immediate positive effect on your relationship.

1) Send a romantic e-card or something by snail mail. It will only take you a few minutes to search for e-card online, and create something special or write a note and send it the old fashioned way. It worked for Oscar Wilde.

2) Offer to help out with childcare or chores. For women especially, nothing dampens the desire for sexual intimacy as much as a dishwasher that needs unpacking or stacking. By offering to help with something small, you are showing your partner that they don’t have to carry all the responsibility alone, which is how it can feel sometimes. A man who helps with chores is incredibly sexy to a women.

3) Turn off all devices and really focus on one another. Make an effect to unplug and focus on your partner for a hour daily.

4) Greet each other with a kiss. How often do you arrive without kissing your partner? A kiss is a simple way to instantly improve your connection with your partner.

5) When out on a date or at home at the dinner table play footie. It may sound childish, but that is actually the point. We are way too serious sometimes, playfulness can lighten an otherwise very serious mood.

6) Hug like you mean it! Hugs are known to have countless physical and emotional benefits so give your partner a real hug. Put your whole body into it and make it count.

7)Take them yummy weekend breakfast in bed. Most people love staying in for an extra half an hour on a weekend if they can. Giving your partner the gift of down time by making them breakfast in bed is a perfect way to show them you love and appreciate them.
