We might have noticed we've had a bit of rain this week!!
Well due to the high volumes of water in the Waikato River catchment a number of low-lying Hamilton parks and reserves have now been closed.
These are Matakanohi Reserve, Grantham St car park, Pine Beach and Fairfield Esplanade.
The council says path users should not enter these parks, particularly if the gates are closed.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation is trying to break the Guinness World Record for the highest number of consecutive rugby passes.
One person, one pass. And you have only five seconds to pass the ball to the next person 5 metres away.
No pressure, right?
If you're keen to be involved the event will be held at Hamilton's Waikato Stadium on Wednesday, November 30. They need 350 passes to beat the current record.

What: Guiness World Record attempt – consecutive rugby passes
When: Wednesday, November 30, 2016
Where: Waikato Stadium
Time: From 3pm, with the attempt at 5pm
It's on this THURSDAY (tomorrow) in the Village Green (off Willowbrook). No need to organise a team, just jump on the field.
5:30-6pm: Kids & Adults
6-7pm: Just the adults
Remember, the games happen rain or shine!
Price: $110 Per Round Bale +gst
Per Bale: 1 Round Bale (= 10 Conventional Bales)
