Dawn died on Saturday, March 4, 2023, while in the care of the wonderful Otago Community Hospice staff. Dawn died as she lived, determined to maintain control of whatever remained of her life and to establish what processes would follow her death, including not having a funeral service. She was the only daughter of James and Jessie Rutherford. She was the much loved sister and sister-in-law of Jim and Ann, and the much loved aunt of Matthew. Jim, Ann, and Matthew pass on their heartfelt thanks to Dunedin Hospital and Dunedin Hospice staff. The care Dawn received in her final days was truly extraordinary. These thanks are extended to family members and friends who have supported Dawn over the years. A special thanks to Lyla, Ken and Glenn. Messages to 10 Walker Place, Alexandra 9320.
Died peacefully in Dunedin 23 February 2023, aged 82. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Lynnette and Murray West, Joan and Gary Vincent, the late Nataline and deceased brothers Eddie, Colin, Bruce and Alan. Another link in the Kelland chain broken.
