RUTHERFORD, Judith Dawn (Dawn)
Dawn died on Saturday, March 4, 2023, while in the care of the wonderful Otago Community Hospice staff. Dawn died as she lived, determined to maintain control of whatever remained of her life and to establish what processes would follow her death, including not having a funeral service. She was the only daughter of James and Jessie Rutherford. She was the much loved sister and sister-in-law of Jim and Ann, and the much loved aunt of Matthew. Jim, Ann, and Matthew pass on their heartfelt thanks to Dunedin Hospital and Dunedin Hospice staff. The care Dawn received in her final days was truly extraordinary.
