Judith died in the early hours of Monday, 1 May 2023 at Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North, aged 77. Judith was the cherished daughter of the late Jean and Rod Carter of Auckland, and the much loved sister of Jean, Norbury and Murray. A service will be held to celebrate Judith’s life at St Peter’s Anglican Church, 229 Ruahine Street, Terrace End, this Friday, 5 May at 11.00am.

Peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital, Masterton, on Tuesday 2 May 2023, aged 70 years, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Lynda for 49 years. Passed away peacefully at Summerset Rototuna on Tuesday 2nd May 2023. Aged 98. Much loved wife of Alden Cruickshank (deceased) and Gordon Bell (deceased). Dearly loved and treasured Mum and mother-in-law of John (deceased), Raewyn, Ann & John. Cherished Grandma of Rebecca and Angeline, and loved GG of Bella, Ruby, Harrison and Weston. Adored step-mum of Robert, Heather, Glenda, Sharon and Peter, along with their partners, children and grandchildren. A special thanks to Summerset Rototuna for the love and care over the last 7 weeks. In accordance with Mary’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

HALL, Albert William (Bill)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday 30 April 2023 at Lower Hutt, at the age of 92 years. Bill was the cherished husband of the late Jean, and dear companion to Joan. He was beloved father to Caroline and Stephanie and was known with love and affection as "Jeeps” by their families, including Tom, Rick and Richard and his grandchildren, Belle, Rosie, Nina (and her partner Eddyn) and Conor. Bill was a keen soccer player and supporter and was a good friend to many. Our thanks to the team at Shona McFarlane for their special care of Bill in his final months. We will gather to celebrate the well-lived life of Bill at the Eastbourne RSA, 48 Tuatora Street, Eastbourne on Wednesday 10 May 2023 at 2.00pm. If you knew Bill, we would love to have you there to remember him with us. In honour of Bill, donations to Forest and Bird (where Bill was a volunteer) would be appreciated over flowers.
