Death

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 30 April 2023 at Lower Hutt, at the age of 92 years. Bill was the cherished husband of the late Jean, and dear companion to Joan. He was beloved father to Caroline and Stephanie and was known with love and affection as "Jeeps” by their families, including Tom, Rick and Richard and his grandchildren, Belle, Rosie, Nina (and her partner Eddyn) and Conor. Bill was a keen soccer player and supporter and was a good friend to many. Our thanks to the team at Shona McFarlane for their special care of Bill in his final months. We will gather to celebrate the well-lived life of Bill at the Eastbourne RSA, 48 Tuatora Street, Eastbourne on Wednesday 10 May 2023 at 2.00pm. If you knew Bill, we would love to have you there to remember him with us. In honour of Bill, donations to Forest and Bird (where Bill was a volunteer) would be appreciated over flowers.
