TINGEY, Edward Adam Campbell (Ed)

On Wednesday 17 May 2023. Dearly loved partner of Helen Foot. Father of Matthew and step-father of Christopher and Brandon Ditto. Brother and brother-in-law of Judith (dec), John and Mary, Robert and Dianne, Richard and Andrea (dec), Susan and Michael Berry. Special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Will be greatly missed by the extended Foot Family. A funeral service for Ed will be held at St John’s in the City Presbyterian Church, 170 Willis Street, Wellington, on Tuesday 23 May 2023 at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.

On 18 May 2023 Roger went to his Lord and Saviour, aged 76 years. Dearly loved husband of Marty. Loved father of Moana & Martin, Martin, Duncan & Ilona, and Simon & Melanie. Loved grandfather of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of Elderslea Care Centre. A service to celebrate the life of Roger will be held at Silverstream Reformed Church, 8 Blue Mountains Rd, Pinehaven, on 22 May 2023 at 12.30pm.

On 17 May 2023, aged 82 years. TODD, Robert Thomas (Bob)

On May 18, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family; aged 87 years. Loved husband of Grace for 62 years, loving and devoted Dad of Michelle and Barry Dyer, Grant, Ross and Sue. Dearly loved and loving grandad of Natasha, Timothy and Kate, Camryn, Olivia and Josh, and Vinny. Special great-grandad of Emily, Ivy and Ellie. It is with great sadness that the Russell family announce that Michael peacefully passed away on Thursday 18th May 2023, aged 85, after a short stay at Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his daughter Clare and her partner Aaron and by his grandson Ben. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 23rd May 2023, at St Mary Magdalene Church, 67 Cambridge Avenue, Ashhurst at 1.00pm.

Peacefully at Rowena Jackson Rest Home on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late Leo. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Wayne and Sue Edgerton, Maree Kerr, Julie and Greg Erskine, and Richard and Susie. Loved Nana of her 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Cathie’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Wednesday, May 24 at 1.00pm. The service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Of Marton. Passed away at home, surrounded by love, on 17th May 2023. Aged 78 years. Deeply loved and treasured husband of Lyn. Loved and respected Dad and father-in-law of Donna and Tony, and Tony and Jody. Much loved grandad of Josh. A loved cousin, uncle and friend. We would like to thank Dr Mike O’ Grady, Andrea Dempsey and the nursing staff at the Wanganui Hospital, Dr Richard Isaacs and his registrars, the Oncology staff at Palmerston North Hospital, Dr Dave Baldwin, Bulls Medical Center, the team at Arohanui Hospice Palmerston North, Kathy Turner and the district nurses for all your wonderful care of Terry. The huge gap Terry has left in our lives can never be replaced. FOGG, Gerald Stanley

Died peacefully at home, the place he loved the most, on Friday 19th May 2023. Much loved husband of Judith, dearly loved dad of Angus and Belinda, and ‘grandpa’ to Austin, Cooper, Snoopy and Bunny. A private cremation has been held and a celebration of Gerald’s life is planned. In the meantime, to remember Gerald, please feel free to go out for a coffee, potter in the garden, go to the beach, tinker around with cars - anything, really, that brings back happy memories of spending time with him. A dedicated paediatric nurse who spent her life caring for children at Nelson Hospital and supporting nurses with their education.
