Passed peacefully at Rhapsody Rest Home on Friday 12th May 2023. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Steve and Sonia, David and Carolyn, and Leanne and Larry Osborn. Loved Nana to Tania, David, Carne, Logan, and her great-grandchildren. In accordance with Sheila’s wishes, a private family service has been held.

Died November 2022, aged 73. A memorial service will be held tomorrow morning (Sunday), at 11.00am, NZ time in Idaho, United States, to commemorate Ann’s life by her family and friends.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2023, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Eunice, father of Justine, and Perry, and grandfather to Taylor, Heath, Frederick and Jasper. Sadly passed away peacefully at WindsorCare, with family by her side, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife of Max. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Michelle, Julia and Stuart, Cheryl and Phil. A treasured and fun-loving Gran to Marv; Jessica and Callum; Caitlyn, Liam and Max. Peacefully at Calvary Hospital, Invercargill. On Sunday, May 14, 2023. Dearly loved husband of the late Patricia. Loved father and father-in-law of Prentice and Claire (Invercargill). Cherished granddad of Tim, Harry, Ollie, Lydia, William, Christopher, and Philippa. A private burial has been held. Family warmly invite you to a memorial service for Dennis at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 1.30pm, on Thursday, May 25. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service for the Southland Hospice. Died peacefully after a short illness at Whanganui Hospital on 21 February 2023, aged 65. Much loved younger son of the late William (Bill) and Linda (Ruth) Lawrence, Waikanae. Loved brother of David, sister-in-law Megan and loved Uncle of Stephanie and Blair. Sadly missed by cousins Gael, Marion, Hugh, and Donal Ferguson. Sincere appreciation to all the medical staff at Whanganui Hospital who provided outstanding care and compassion to Mark. In accordance with Mark’s wishes there was no funeral and he was cremated. Died peacefully surrounded by family at Bupa Crofton Downs on May 11th, 2023. Dearly loved husband of Heather for 64 years, loved father of Linda, Jeffrey and Debra. Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, with family at her side, on May 15, 2023, aged 89 years. Loved wife of the late Bob Palmer. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Greg, Steve and Jenny, Barb and Warwick, and Deb and Grant. Grandma to Mitch and Caity, Zach and Rob, and Ben and Joie. On Wednesday, May 10, 2023; aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband and companion to Janet (deceased) for 63 years, loved and respected father and father-in-law to Suzanne and William Drury-Turnbull, Julie and Wayne Stewart, Helen Wilson, and Alanna and Andy Irving. Cherished Grandad, Poppy, and Grandad Murray to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loyal stalwart of the Merivale Papanui Ruby Club (in the old days) and of the Riccarton Working Mens Club; its billiard and snooker sections, the Sandy Knolls Club, and the Avonhead Fishing Club. A great Kiwi bloke. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Essie Summers Hospital Care for their wonderful love and support of Murray. Messages c/- The Drury Family, c/- P.O. GILDEN, Shirley Elizabeth(nee McGregor)

Passed away with Tony and Rob by her side on 15 May 2023, aged 91 years. After saying her own special farewells, Mum called the shots and left on her own terms. Shirley’s message was simply - Don’t be sad, she had a life well lived and well loved. Loved wife of Bill (reunited after 41 years). Loved Mum and Mum in-law of Lois (reunited after 20 years), Dave, Mike (reunited after 9 years), Rob & Trish and Tony & Di. Much loved by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held in St Patrick’s Church, corner Main Road and Stanley Street, Wainuiomata, on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Taita Cemetery.

It is with great sadness to inform our Normie passed away suddenly on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Dunedin, aged 77 years. Adored, loving husband and soulmate of Sheila (nee Lawrie), much loved Dad to Jason and Jonelle; Melanie; Sonya; Craig and Jane. Forever loving, cherished, fun and proud Granddad, Grandpop and Normie to Kayla; Chloe and Talia; Becky, Peter, Baylee, Bentley and Riley Spencer; Tyler and Allie De Clifford and the 3 rascals Conrad, Alfie and Wyatt. Loved son-in-law of Jessie Lawrie. As per Normie’s wishes a private family cremation was held in Dunedin. He has left a huge hole in each and everyones hearts.

Cherished grandfather of Madison and Cameron Walker, Logan, Nathan and Emma Small, Jacob Lee and Alexis Simpson. Much loved husband of the late Alison Hogg, and loved friend of the Hogg family. Beloved wife of Danny for the past 58 years. Mother and mother-in-law to Daniel and Jenny, Mary Jane and Mick, Margaret and Andrew, and Alun and Kareena. Doting Granny to Luke, Daniel, Abigail, Oliver, Owen, Lilly, Eamonn and Kaylee. Loved only daughter of the late Mary and Tony McVey, and the last of her family that came to New Zealand in 1951. A private celebration of Anne’s life has already been held.
