After a long courageous battle, Brent passed away with his dearly loved wife by his side in Brisbane. A much loved husband of Julia. An amazing Dad and father-in-law of Daniel and Emma, Nicole and Troy, Mark and Leanne, Michelle and David, and a doting grandad to all his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed beyond words. formerly of Dunedin. On May 18, 2023, peacefully at The Oaks Care Centre and Village, Christchurch; aged 83 years. Dearly loved wife of Kenn*, loved mother and mother-in-law of Junell* and Geoff Moss, treasured grandmother of Amber and Kerry, Quentin and Kim, and her great-grandchildren Jasper, Sterling, Ali, and Jack. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Ron and Dot Askin, Carol and Lindsay Parry (Wanaka), Glenda and Rex Alexander, Gloria and Murray Harris, loved aunt of her nieces and nephews, best friend of Ritchie and Izzy. A service to celebrate Noeline’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 2.00pm, on Saturday, May 27, followed by private cremation. Unexpectedly but peacefully passed on Wednesday May 10, 2023, in Christchurch Hospital aged 84. Dearly loved wife of late Douglas Norman. Loved and cherished Mother and mother-in-law to Brian and Lynn, Christine Bennett, Chris Cowlishaw, Michele Walker, Steve Syder, Janine and Kirk Falconer. Loved nana and great-nana. Passed away peacefully at Coldstream Lifecare, Ashburton, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, aged 90. Much loved wife of the late George Kennington and the late Fred Latue. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of the late Douglas Latue, Sue and Brian King, the late Kay, Char and Paul Dunstan, and Paul Latue. Cherished Nana of Kyle (dec) and Angela (Brisbane), Charloe, Courtney and Sam Woodcock, and Corey Doughty. Devoted Great-Nana Marie of Kyla (Brisbane), and Kennedy. Loved dearly by her remaining sisters Nell and Lesley.

On May 17, 2023, finally resting at peace aged 77 years. Loved partner of Vanya, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Belinda and Ed, Melissa and Jamie, Annabel and Tori, and Bridget. Loved grandfather AKA Sir Roger, of Denver, and Castro; and Lyla, and Rio. Beloved brother of Bruce. Loved by Vanya’s son’s Mali, and Louis.

Sadly passed following an accident in Havelock North on Monday 24 April 2023. Aged 74 years. Loving wife of Jeff for almost 52 years. Precious mum of Toni and Clayton, Anita and Tim. Treasured nana of Rylee and Nicole, Corben, Natalie and Zara. Much loved by her wider family. A memorial service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held at Northpoint Baptist Church, 116 Mangati Road, Bell Block, on Friday 26 May 2023 at 10.00am.

REID, Audrey Jessie(née Phillips)

Originally from Whanganui, more recently from Khandallah, Wellington, died peacefully at Te Hopai Rest Home and Hospital on May 16th 2023, in her 100th year. Loved mother of Robyn, John and Jenny; mother-in-law of Bill, Mandy and Lindsay; devoted grandmother of Alicia, Oliver and Callum; and treasured aunt and friend of too many to mention. Funeral to be held at 1.00pm Tuesday, May 23rd, at Khandallah Presbyterian Church, Ganges Road. Attendees are invited to bring a flower from their garden.

Died peacefully at Nelson Hospital surrounded by family on May 17, 2023, aged 90. Much loved wife of the late Brian Ernest. Mother and mother-in-law of Anne and Devon; John; Stephen and Tracy; Mark and Genene. Treasured grandmother of Simon and Amy, Christopher and Meryn; Joel and Lisa, Becky and Brad, Laura, and William. On May 16, 2023, at Ellesmere Hospital, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband and companion of Barbara for 60 years, a respected and devoted father and father-in-law of Graeme and Lynette, Michael and Debbie, Cheryl and Kerrin Thomson. Treasured “Grandad” of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our sincere thanks to the staff at ward 25, Christchurch Public and Ellesmere Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. In accordance with Bruce’s wishes a private cremation has taken place.

On Thursday, 18th May 2023 peacefully at Rahiri Rest Home, Dannevirke, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of the late Myra. Loving father of Chris, Lynette and Maree, father in law to Stephen and the late Kathy; Loved Poppa to Renee and Emma. Earl is now reunited with Myra and their baby sons Robert and Kieran. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Rahiri Comfort Fund and these may be left at the service. A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at Knox Church, Swinburn Street, Dannevirke, on Tuesday 23rd May at 11.30am, followed by interment at the Mangatera Lawn Cemetery.
