We run a women’s group called Home League at The Salvation Army Church here in Tawa. It is held every Wednesday from 10 am when we start with morning tea and then an activity from 10.30am until 11.30am at 177 Main Road, Tawa. This group is for women of all ages. "Although you can't tell they are sisters and they are now 13 years old and will be 14 this coming January. I brought them back from Australia with me when I came home to New Zealand. They are by my side every day. They love people, walks and treats. They were used to walking every day on the beach in Adelaide but here in Avalon the beach is too far away for us to walk to."
