We know there will be a bit of a backlog, but we ask that you please only put your glass out in official Council crates, and put it out in stages so that we don't overwhelm the processing plant.
You can still drop your glass off for free at the Recycling Centre at the Southern Landfill.
Co-mingled recycling in bags and wheelie bins is still being collected and recycled as normal.
Thank you all for your patience, kindness and empathy during this time. It is greatly appreciated by us and our contractors.

Well folks an opportunity like this only comes along once in a lifetime.
Free dirt!! Good for use as landscape fill but not much else, mostly clay and a bit of gravel. Free to good home if you want to collect it. About 3 small trailer loads worth.
