As a community we are increasingly aware of the importance of sustaining the health of our environment, and making it a priority.
As a starting point we have pulled together data on things like greenhouse gas emissions and fresh water quality in the city, insights from the community and guidance from experts. Thanks to the 1,000+ people who shared their knowledge and views! Read on for a summary of findings.
Next steps: use this information to shape a strategy for the city, and develop action plans to deliver on the aspirations of the strategy.
I have an overlocker from a friend that works but is missing the pedal and plug. Does anyone have one from a brother machine that no longer works? Can be from sewing or overlocker just as long as brand is the same.

Hi this is a large which we have been using in our rumpus room to watch moveis on. Have now got another one so this one is free to anyone who may find a use for it.
I was walking my two dogs in JR this morning as I do almost everyday without incident. This morning we came across a dog that looked like a border collie cross. One of my dogs had a sniff as is normal & the owner said his dog could be abit ‘snappy’. His dog went for mine, my dog submitted … View moreI was walking my two dogs in JR this morning as I do almost everyday without incident. This morning we came across a dog that looked like a border collie cross. One of my dogs had a sniff as is normal & the owner said his dog could be abit ‘snappy’. His dog went for mine, my dog submitted and then he went for my other dog who was just standing there!
It wasn’t until a few minutes later I realised my smaller dog has a fairly large cut across the top of her eye and scratches underneath the same eye.
These injures are not life threatening HOWEVER if you know your dog is ‘snappy’, dog aggressive in my eyes, then keep it on a bloody leash! If my dogs were not submissive the outcome could’ve been a lot worse than cuts & scratches.
