They can add a sense of personality and lift up the atmosphere of your home without spending a fortune on redecorating. Most people tend to forget about their curtains when cleaning other home interior accessories, such as carpets. Little did you know, curtains can cause serious harm to your health if left unattended for long periods of time.
Over a few days we'll take a look at the 4 hidden dangers of having dirty curtains and why you should take time to have your curtains cleaned every few years.
REASON 1: Curtains accumulate allergens and dust mites
Many people overlook curtains when it comes to cleaning. Curtains withstand heat, cold, dirt, direct sunlight and act as a shield for your house. Curtain fabrics can often attract a lot of allergens and dust. These are the two main causes of allergic reactions such as sneezing, coughing or runny noses.
Due to their small size, dust particles are easily carried by wind and accumulate on curtains after some time, especially curtains that are made from cotton. Some curtains are worse offenders when it comes to dust accumulation, particularly those made from thicker fabrics and have multiple curtain layers in one.
Allergens and dust mites are trapped between the layers and thus increase the chances of you getting allergy symptoms.
In a casual survey taken by HealthyWomen, 67 percent reported taking medication to help control allergy symptoms. Removing the allergens hidden in your curtains can already help relieve your allergy symptoms a lot without the help of meds.

Currently not working due weather circumstances. I have been supporting a cat colony for about a year and a half now. I am currently using my savings which I do not mind to buy cat essentials, medication, food etc but am running out. A while ago I was getting lots of donations from amazing people from neighbourly, fb and I started to support them by myself with the money I was making from working for a few months but Because I will not be working for a while I am running out of ideas and with financial help, Mum and nana have been helping me out also which I appreciate so much. This is a big ask for me but will anyone be willing to help me out with Cat food, wet food, dry food would be a bonus. I may be able to pick up locally in papamoa or you are welcome to drop it off and also see the cats yourself and have an understanding of what I do for them. I also have a few posters around. All the cats have been desexed and health checked. I also worm and flea them myself as it is hard getting a cat to the vet one by one. I am trying my best to keep these cats healthy, clean and warm as possible. I have a set up with beds in my garage so they are warm at night and during the day! Thank you all so so much for the donations I've had in the past and to show people what I do and how I look after these cats. ❤️

I went to the council and they were extremely onto it. Got a call from dog control within the hour day g he was trying to track the dog down. Unfortunately it looks like the dog is unregistered and there's not much he can do without more info. Like a name or address. So I'm begging everyone to keep an eye out and maybe do some stalking :p the dog looked like a Doberman cross. colouring of the brown in the first pic and looked like the second pic :). Answered to chloe. Lynn has had to get medical help. Looks like a large hematoma in her like and her back isn't good either. Very battered and bruised!!!
