Towards an environment strategy for Tauranga
We're working towards developing an environment strategy for Tauranga. As a community we are increasingly aware of the importance of sustaining the health of our environment, and making it a priority.
As a starting point we have pulled together data on things like greenhouse gas emissions and fresh water quality in the city, insights from the community and guidance from experts. Thanks to the 1,000+ people who shared their knowledge and views! Read on for a summary of findings.
Next steps: use this information to shape a strategy for the city, and develop action plans to deliver on the aspirations of the strategy.
