Storm clean up - Te Atiawa Park playground and Wesley Knight dog park
šØ It sure has been windy this week! Our Operations and Arboriculture teams have been kept busy responding to storm debris and damage in our open spaces and parks.
This week we'll be trimming the large macrocarpa tree in Te Atiawa Park playground, beside the BMX track, to reduce its height and the risk of windthrow. The BMX track and playground will be closed Friday 29 September, 8amā4.30pm for this important mahi.
Our teams will also be clearing away storm debris on Friday at Wesley Knight dog park on Ocean Road, Paraparaumu Beach.
NgÄ mihi for your patience while we complete this work. If you see anything like this that you think needs our attention, you can log a service request through our FREE Antenno app šš¼ www.kapiticoast.govt.nz...
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesnāt have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
