Te reo is in the spotlight and is being celebrated throughout the country as part of Māori Language Week. This week, Barbershop in Blue returned with a waiata, parents shared stories about raising children as bilingual, Stuff became Puna, and the future of te reo in NZ was debated.

He/she has been there for two weeks now and maybe unable to fly. He does look a little straggly/weather beaten He most certainly would like food supplied and here are three greenies he would very likely enjoy - shredded cabbage, lettuce and leaves of the cauliflower. DO NOT GIVE THE GOOSE BREAD. He might like shredded carrot and grapes sliced in half. Apparently he talks to my wife - but who wouldn't.
