During this transition time we hope that you will continue to attend our activities at the Great Start community Hub, and continue to attend when they are in their new space.

Over the last few months I notice that a number of people have been interested in joining a group and learning more about this extremely social and fun gaming experience. Unfortunately our group is quite large and we could not possibly fit any more players around our table.
To this end, I'm wanting to see if there is any interest in organising a formal weekly meet-up of people wanting to learn more about D&D in the Hutt region. If the interest is there then I'm happy to organise a venue for people to meet-up, connect with others who play or would like to learn how to play.
This is just a general notice of interest so please contact me if you would like to be part of this. If there is a strong interest then I would be happy to start the process of organising this.

Did you know that more than 75% of alleged abusers are family members? We hear awful stories in the media of older people being abused in care facilities, scammed on the internet or taunted by the general public, but for thousands of older New Zealander's the abuse happens in their own home. Please get in contact with your local Age Concern if you suspect a family member, friend or neighbour is being abused. We can Help. #WEAAD #alwaysrespected

This means saying what you need, not what you don't need.
I need you to support me.
I don't need you to tell me what to do.
Hear the difference?
People don’t usually think about what they need when they're upset. Instead they think about what their partner partner should stop doing wrong.
Within every negative feeling there is a longing, a wish, and, because of that, there is a recipe for success. The positive need is about highlighting ways in which your partner can shine for you.
Question of the day: What is one thing you need right now in your relationship?
