Yesterday I took my partner and grandson to the Avalon park and I took my dog for a long walk and ended up at the Fairway Drive side where the duck pond is and saw people meditating. Its known as Falun Dafa/ Falun Gong.
Falun Gong or Falun Dafa is a modern Chinese spiritual practice that combines meditation and qigong exercises with a moral philosophy centred on the tenets of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. I was quite fascinated. So I had to ask. I was informed that they are there every Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm. It cost nothing and its to learn about meditation etc. So every Saturday that I go for my walk along Taita drive and around the riverside path back towards the duck pond I will be there in time to start this. I've just started a fitness routine and this would be a bonus. So feel free to come. Have a look or join in. Thanks neighbourly
