My arrangement with a neighbour for two Angus steers fell through and we have masses of grass, and disappointed children … I’m wondering if anyone has steers, any breed will do, that we can buy to keep the grass down. Our arrangement that fell through was for 2 Angus x Fresian weaned steers for $400 each so that’s pretty much what we have to spend on new ones. If you have anything please contact me. Ta 😀

I tried putting a poster at the local shops and had two enquiries which was great, but how do I reach more people?

We don’t have a road frontage so we can’t just set up a station at the roadside with a sign and an honesty box, as it isn’t our land.

I’m not financial enough to be able to give it away, so have put a price of $2 per bag on it, but am willing to be flexible on that.

Any ideas would be very welcome 😀

From cutting back on the small things, like a council building refresh, to saving millions on debt, Waitomo’s council would be one of only a handful to have reduced debt over the past few years.
