Passed away peacefully at Ngaio Marsh Rest Home on Sunday, May 28, 2023, aged 79 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law to Richard and Natasha, Alison and Michael, and John and Traci. Cherished grandma to Connor and Stephen, Brianna, Mackenzie, Dominic, Lachlan, Madelynn, Blake, Hayden and Sienna. Wonderful friend to Leigh, Emma and Jamie. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Christchurch, on Friday, June 9 at 2.00pm. Messages may be addressed to the family at PO Box 22006, Christchurch.

HOWARD, Lillian Mae (nee Aroa)

On Monday, 22nd May 2023, Lillian passed away peacefully at home. Aged 86. Much loved wife of Henry. Loved mother of Cheryl, Garry, Bryce, Terry and their partners. Treasured Grandma to 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

WEBBER, Jean Francis

Passed away peacefully at Allen Bryant Rest Home, with loving family by her side, on May 25, 2023, aged 97. Dearly loved wife of the late Cyril, loved mother and mother-in-law of Maureen and Doug Truman (Greymouth), and Douglas Webber and Ulrike Luetzenkirchen (Paris), loved Grandma of Nick and Sarah, Ben and Johannah, and Libby, loved Great-Grandma of Penelope, Matthew, Annabelle, Juliette, Edward, Toby, and Thomas, a loved sister and sister-in-law of the Ellis and Webber families, a loved aunt and friend. Messages to 16 Stanton Crescent, Greymouth 7805. The family would like to acknowledge the staff of Allen Bryant Rest Home for their exceptional care and support. A private family service has been held followed by cremation on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.

On Wednesday 31st May 2023, aged 103. Much loved mother of Gail and Simon (deceased) Plank (Queensland, Australia). Cherished Nan of Dean Wallan, and Great-Nan of Caleb.
We are not there with you now Mum, but we will all meet again.
Will always be in our hearts and loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Arohanui Hospice online at arohanuihospice.org.nz A service for Daisy will be held in the Central Baptist Church, 190 Church Street, Palmerston North, on Wednesday 7th June 2023, at 2.00pm.

DAVISON, Colin Edward

Peacefully passed away on May 30, 2023, at 5.10pm at Christchurch Hospital, aged 79. Colin was brought into this world on August 25, 1943. He is survived by his wife Rose, his son Noel and daughter Shari, his siblings Graeme, Pamela and Bruce. Colin was an engineer and a top notch sales man. A part owner of a champion greyhound race dog named Power Wagon who he loved very much and later became his beloved friend Spud. Passed peacefully, after a courageous fight, at his home on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Loved husband of Carolyn. Adored father of James and Tarsh, Mark, Kylie, Rachel and Rachel. Treasured Poppa of Leonardo and Elijah, and Holly and Libby. Loved son of Robyn Wilson and the late Bob (Robin) Berry, and stepson of the late Russell Wilson. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ian, Nicola and Jeff, Jillian and Steven, and stepbrother of Jo Wilson and the late Stephen Wilson. Loved uncle and great-uncle of respective families. Our thanks to Auckland City Hospital, Christchurch Public Hospital, Nurse Maude and Dr Gibbs at the Papanui Medical Centre for their care over the past 15 months. Passed away peacefully at Woburn Masonic Care in Lower Hutt on Tuesday, 30 May 2023, aged 95. Beloved mother of Pete, Clare, Helen and Ian and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Special thanks for the care and love shown by the staff at Woburn Masonic Care. In lieu of flowers donations to the Eastwoodhill Arboretum would be appreciated. Aged 89. Died in Hastings Hospital after a short illness on 22nd May 2023. In accordance with Dad’s wishes a private funeral has been held.

Died suddenly after a well lived life. Dearly loved wife of John Joseph (deceased 2006), loving mother to Virginia and Michael, and cherished Nonna to Matthew and Nathan. Thanks to the staff at Hutt Hospital and Shona McFarlane for their support and respect of Mum. As per mum’s wishes there is to be no funeral service but the family invites you to the Naenae Bowling Club on Wednesday 7th June from 2.30pm to celebrate her life with them. Donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated.

Loved and treasured Mother and Mother-in-law of Karen and Rob Turner (Te Anau), Keith and Karen Knarston (Auckland), Judith and Geoff Annear (Rangiora), Stuart and Pia Knarston (New Plymouth), and Colin (Opio). A Cherished Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to all Lorna’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Private Cremation has been held as per the family’s wishes.
