WILSON, Alison Margaret

(formerly of Little River) Peacefully at home, on Sunday, May 28, 2023, aged 67 years. Dearly loved partner of Frank Bingham, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Kath and Adam Wright (Roxburgh), Phil and Kate Wilson (Rangiora), and loved and adored Grandma of Charlotte; Frankie, and Maximus. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Chris and Tracy Burgess. In accordance with Alison’s wishes a private cremation has been held. Messages to 4 Selkirk Place, Quail Haven, Roxburgh 9500.

On May 26, 2023, at Parkstone Care Hospital; in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of Doris, father of Stephen and Kay, and Gavin. Loved grandad of Melanie and Nathan, Andrew and Arna and great-grandad of Fletcher. The family would like to thank Parkstone Care Hospital for their care of Colin. Passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Aged 59 years. Dearly loved Mum to Kelly. Adored Grandmother to William, Aaliyah. Cherished sister to Tony, Sue, Pam, Robin and Peter. On May 25, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch. Father, father-in-law and grandfather of Marina and Kris, Grant and Wai Lean, Stephanie and Andy, Robert and Mary Anne; Andrew and Tina, and Caitlin; Alastair and Kyoko, and Nicole; Adam, Audrey, and Emma. Special thanks to the amazing team at Addington Gardens for their wonderful care and support. In accordance with Jarn’s wishes, a private family service has been held. Suddenly at home in Mokau, on Tuesday, 30 May 2023, aged 74. Loved husband of Linda for 43 years. Father of Toni (deceased) and Jamie. Step-father, grandfather and ‘Euan’ to his family and friends. Close family and friends farewelled Euan with a private burial at Mokau Cemetery.

HIND, Ngaire Sutherland (nee Saunders)

Devoted and loved wife of Eric (deceased), died peacefully at McKenzie Healthcare, Geraldine, on April 19, 2023. Fiercely independent to the very end, she will be sorely missed by John and Alison, Ian and Alison and Sue (recently deceased) and Russell. Ngaire will also be sadly missed by her much loved grandchildren Morgan, Kadin, Angela, Tracey, Chris and Libby, and great-grandchildren Tyler, Fraser and Gene. There was a special place in her heart for the creative fibre community, where she spun many a fine yarn. She wished to thank the staff at McKenzie Healthcare for the care that they provided. At her request, Ngaire had a private farewell.

Passed away at Nurse Maude Hospital on May 29, aged 92. Blessed to be reunited with Joan who passed away on December 9, 2022. Much loved father to Cheryl and Linda, grandfather to Nicholas, Natalie and Julia, and great-grandfather to Micah; father-in-law to Steve, and Kevin (deceased). A private cremation will take place.

Passed peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Saturday 27th May 2023, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Patricia, and the late Adoracion (Dory). Maurie, from Mt Maunganui, passed away peacefully on Tuesday 30th May 2023. Loved husband of Marie. GILLARD, Earle Carl

Passed away peacefully at Thames Hospital, on Monday, 29 May 2023, with family present. Aged 84. Dearly loved husband of Shirley. Loved father of Peter, Grant and Frances, Tony and Vicki, Sherry and Gene, and Dale. Loved and loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Earle enjoyed being with family, gardening, pottering in the shed, fixing things, watching WWE wrestling. He had a lot of treasures in his shed, most of which were “extremely” important and “might come in handy one day”! At Earle’s request a private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held in the Silver Fern Event Centre, Stanley Avenue, Te Aroha, on 18 June 2023 at 1.00pm.
