Death

Born in Dunedin on 17th April 1925. Passed away peacefully and with grace at the Cardrona Rest Home. Beloved wife of the late Greenwood John Willan, (Bottles). Loved and cherished mother of June and Chris (Australia), Coleen and Phillip. Foster mother of Stewart (deceased), Nan to Sandra, Debbie and Troy (Australia), Katrina, Natasha, Sonia and Todd. Great-Nan of 8 in Australia and 1 in NZ. Great-Great-Nan of 5 in Australia and 2 in NZ. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Cardrona Resthome, Putaruru for their love and long term care of our Mum and Nan. Joan was farewelled in a private service at St Patrick’s Parish Putaruru on 27th February 2023. She will be laid to rest with her mother, Nora Love (Dibben), whom she adored.
