Hi All
I have a lounge suite, which has been in storage for 3 years, and would like to get it repaired (some springs have popped) and cleaned so we can use it again. It is 2 reclining chairs and a 3 seater couch made with a material covering. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this please

A black or dark coloured 4 wheel drive travelling north failed to give way to her red car travelling west. It side swiped into her car as she tried to avoid it causing a lot of damage to the left front and rear. The driver of the 4 wheel drive did not attempt to stop or come back to assess damage or if anybody was hurt. Luckily there are cameras there and hopefully the Police will find out who they are. If anybody saw the crash and could help identifying the other vehicle could they please contact me. Thank you.

Did anyone hear the siren going off in North Beach last night alerting people to evacuate. It went on for over one hour before it was turned off.
It was in the Beach Road area.

What I would suggest is that if you get a call like this HANG UP.
If spark is your provider call them and ask them if this is correct.
If it isn't then report the call with as much detail as you can remember.
Hopefully this post may stop someone getting scammed.

Apparently Council cannot tell truckies what roads they cannot use and cannot put No Heavy truck signs up to stop this. We live on Breezes Road Avondale and there has been a steady influx of trucks past our house over the last few months. Our house rattles and everything in cupboards etc shake , rattle, and roll. Our doors in our house are starting to stick which means they are damaging the house. All i have had from Council is oh we will send someone out to check vibrations. It is because he roads have not been fixed adequately and it seems Council dosnt care. In the Community profile for the Avondale/Dallington area dated Nov 2014 it states The focus is repair of the fresh water and storm water systems and roads. That is four years ago and nothing has been done. We pay our rates but have no promised work done and it seems Council have no clout to stop these trucks. So i ask what is the answer??
