That all her postings have been removed other than "wee owl" also gives rise to my concerns. She is one neighbour that Neighbourly can not afford to do without. Best wishes to all that work as hard to make Neighbourly worthwhile.

1812 overtures

I felt to play the 1812 overture. Seeing the current situation in Ukraine where the russian invaders are unprepared and suffering frostbite and lack of food I wonder if they see the irony of that favourite piece of music at the moment.
I have a dog that likes showing off her musical prowess and she certainly gave a good rendition as she joined in.
Wonder what the 'score' would sound like it if I played it in reverse - would that help their retreat be even more unpallitable. There is always some worse off than us.

To quote: I do think that we must look after our Planet as best as we can for future generations of kids, but lets not forget to still enjoy life. Surely not everything has to be doom and gloom. We have enough of that in the world already and if someone could please assassinate Putin that would be a great start to making the world a better place. ps I haven't seen any recent postings from the ONE AND ONLY who really deserves an award, I hope all is well.
Cheers to all especially you "Yvonne McDonald", and all the others that try to help and to put a little humour into our lives, eh John and Mike - all guilty of having an overactive humerous bone.
Have I got anything wrong please let me know. Cheers all.

I started dieting when I was 12 years old. I wasn’t overweight but I felt pudgy and I wanted a new boy at school to like me. Somehow, I obtained a calorie counting book and quickly memorized it. Each day, I tried hard to reach my goal of eating a certain number of calories. It was well below what I needed to eat as a growing child, but I didn’t see it that way at the time. I just wanted to get rid of my squishy stomach and eat a little less.
