- 1pm - 133 Brighton Mall (between It Takes a Village and Seaside Treasures) – 03 366 6490
- 6.15pm - 8 Goulding Ave (Hornby community centre) – 03 349 5236
These are drop in clinics and you will be given a number when you arrive, so everyone is seen in order, and usually the lawyer can see 5-7 clients.
If you need a specialist lawyer or advisor for immigration, employment or ACC then email clinics.chch@cab.org.nz to make an appointment with the separate clinics.

All are a Drop in service – you might want to give us a call on the day to check it is running
Here are some tips to help you get your paperwork right when you visit with a JP:
- If you want to certify a true copy, have the original document and the copy with you.
- If certifying transcripts printed from the internet or email attachments, the JP will need to see the original website or email on your computer or cell phone (or our office computer).
- If you are certifying a text message, the JP will need to see the whole message on your computer or cell phone.
- If certifying documents for banks or financial institutions, need a declaration or you need an affidavit, the JP needs to see the person named in the document and their photo ID e.g. Passport, Drivers licence or 18+ card.
If these times aren't convenient then check out under 'Read More' for timings at local libraries
