Keen to be a volunteer?
Our second hand Variety Shop is looking to increase our volunteer numbers. We are a small team, in a small shop, so we have been looking at diversifying our operations so we can provide the same great service in front of shop, and get the donations sorted and priced out back in a timely manner, so our customers get to grab some awesome bargains. To do this, without overloading our already incredible crew, we are needing more Sorters, over most days of the week. This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
