Keen to be a volunteer?
Our second hand Variety Shop is looking to increase our volunteer numbers. We are a small team, in a small shop, so we have been looking at diversifying our operations so we can provide the same great service in front of shop, and get the donations sorted and priced out back in a timely manner, so our customers get to grab some awesome bargains. To do this, without overloading our already incredible crew, we are needing more Sorters, over most days of the week. Pedestrian access from one of Christchurch’s favourite streets is being extended all the way to the Ōtakaro Avon River. This new 12m-wide pathway will give you a direct, easy route from the street to the river promenade ... perfect for a stroll, a coffee run, or just soaking up the riverside vibes.
