Our variety shop at 90 Beresford Street, New Brighton is a vital income source for our organisation and it is looking very tired and in desperate need of some TLC!!
We are looking for individuals or businesses that could help with:
- Transporting of shop fittings and stock off site to storage
- Storage of fittings and stock for up to 2 weeks
- Carpet Removal
- Carpet supply
- Carpet Laying
- Wallpaper stripping
- Plastering
- Painting

Our second hand Variety Shop is looking to increase our volunteer numbers. We are a small team, in a small shop, so we have been looking at diversifying our operations so we can provide the same great service in front of shop, and get the donations sorted and priced out back in a timely manner, so … View moreOur second hand Variety Shop is looking to increase our volunteer numbers. We are a small team, in a small shop, so we have been looking at diversifying our operations so we can provide the same great service in front of shop, and get the donations sorted and priced out back in a timely manner, so our customers get to grab some awesome bargains. To do this, without overloading our already incredible crew, we are needing more Sorters, over most days of the week. We are looking for Shop Assistants and Sorters to organise donations and help price our … View moreWe are looking for reliable volunteers to help out in our Variety Shop on Saturdays. The hours required for our new recruits are 9.30am-12.30pm or 12.30-3.30pm - you could do both shifts if that worked for you. We are looking for Shop Assistants and Sorters to organise donations and help price our goods ready for display in the shop, and assist customers with purchases and sales.
