Questioning? - online group for women attracted to women
Kia ora koutou
For the past 9 years we have offered Questioning? – a facilitated support group for women new to experiencing attraction to other women. This year we have decided to offer the group online, this means we are not limited by numbers in regards to physical distancing and we are not limited to receiving enrolments just from Auckland.
Questioning is designed to be a supportive, non-judgemental women's space to talk about same sex attraction? It is participant directed and an opportunity to explore topics like:
• What does same sex attraction mean to you?
• Identity labels...e.g Bi, Queer, Lesbian, Dyke
• Stereotypes and gender stereotypes
• Being in an opposite sex relationship and having same sex attraction
• Finding community and dating
• Being out in society
• If you want to come out, how to tell family, friends, work colleagues
• Sex with women
• Relationships with women
• You, your children and a new relationship
